Goals

Martyn contacted me in 2020 about revamping his old and non-responsive website wanting to have more image content on his site, with a larger focus on the view of Ineff Barn Retreat.

Using the main image of the barn overlooking the Welsh Hills I extracted the colours of this image that would fit in with the website.

Website Development

Published in 2018 the website has undergone an upgrade from the original un-responsive site, meaning people on mobile, tablet and desktop now get a fast and consistent experience from the website - key to accessing all potential customers.
A key aim of the upgraded site was to use large images to portray the rural and "retreat" like location of Ineff Barn - this was achieved using full screen images set to a fixed CSS property.

Self Management & Booking Form

One of the key points of the website for Martyn was to be able to edit the pricing whenever he needed. Purple Whale enabled Self Management and sent instructions over to Martyn with a login to the website where he can now achieve this.
Another feature that needed to be setup was a Booking Form - this was to allow people to check availability and pricing without having to make contact with Martyn. The Booking Form is currently being built into the website back end and again will be managed by Martyn.
